Women in Films, By Women
Hands Across the Divide, a bicommunal Cypriot Women’s non-governmental organization is celebrating its tenth anniversary and is organizing a series of celebratory events. One such event is a week’s screening of films about women in different parts of the world. We chose the following films which are all produced by women film directors and also written by women. We aim to celebrate women’s creativity and a different voice.
The screenings will take place at the Home for Cooperation across from the Ledra Palace Hotel in the buffer zone. All screenings begin at 7:30 and are free of charge.
There will be a short introduction to the film and after every screening a discussion among the audience will ensue.
