Hands Across the Divide @ Inauguration of the Home for Cooperation, Nicosia

The intercommunal

ASSOCIATION FOR HISTORICAL DIALOGUE AND RESEARCH (AHDR)

have pleasure in inviting you to the 6-9 May Inauguration Festivities

to celebrate the completion of the renovation works

and the beginning of a new circle of

cooperation and synergies in the buffer zone.

For those of you who have just joined this challenging journey to new pathways of cooperation, the idea behind the Home for Cooperation (H4C), Educational and Research Centre resulted from the efforts of the AHDR, and the support of many Cypriot and international organizations and individuals, to create a shared space, an inter-communal, multi-functional Educational Centre in the UN buffer zone of Cyprus. With Conference, Museum and Exhibition rooms, a Centre for Archives, Education rooms for children and educators, a Library and a workplace for activities and researchers, this will truly be a centre for cooperation

With your help and support, very soon, the H4C will be officially the first ever shared civil society space within Cyprus, to engage in historical inquiry, advance historical understanding, critical thinking, dialogue and cooperation.  Along with being a landmark building located within a significant site, in the buffer zone, the H4C with its programs, will serve as a tangible and encouraging symbol of the far reaching benefits of intercultural dialogue, cooperation and understanding in Cyprus and globally.

Please find attached the programme of the 6-9 May H4C festivities here.
